How Top Hitters are selected
When you generate a box-score graphic for baseball or softball, Team Post Kit ranks batters automatically using a weighted scoring system that highlights offensive impact, extra-base power, and run production.
The scoring formula
- Total Bases — 1.0 point per base. Calculated from hits (1 for a single, 2 for a double, 3 for a triple, 4 for a home run). This category carries the highest weight to reward extra-base hits.
- Runs Batted In (RBI) — 0.6 points each. Added for driving in runs.
- On-Base Events — 0.5 points each. Earned for walks (BB), hit-by-pitches (HBP), and sacrifice flies (SF).
- Stolen Bases — 0.4 points each. Earned for stolen bases (SB).
The top-performing athletes are selected and formatted onto the board based on their final scores.
You're always in control
Our AI scans your uploaded box score (screenshot, image export, or a GameChanger PDF) and extracts the final score, inning-by-inning runs, team R/H/E, pitching stats, and the ranked hitters. Every value is shown in the builder before you generate — so you can edit names, fix stats, or swap which players appear on the final graphic.
