Intellectual Property Policy
Copyright & Trademark
Last updated: June 16, 2026
1. Respecting Intellectual Property Rights
Team Post Kit ("the Service") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy governs how we handle claims of intellectual property infringement (such as copyright or trademark infringement) relating to content processed by our Service.
2. The Service Is a Tool You Direct
Team Post Kit is a self-serve design tool. You choose every input — the layout, the logos and images, the names, the colors, and the text — and you direct the creation of each graphic. We do not select, curate, license, or pre-clear any team, school, or brand marks on your behalf, and we do not maintain a public, shared library of commercial, collegiate, or professional brand marks. All images, logos, mascot designs, and colors you provide are stored in private, account-locked workspaces accessible only to the logged-in account holder who uploaded them.
3. No Affiliation or Endorsement
Team Post Kit is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any school, team, league, association, or other organization, and no graphic you generate is official or licensed merchandise. All third-party names, logos, mascots, and marks are the property of their respective owners, and any reference to them is solely for identification and to enable the design you have chosen to create.
4. Convenience Search Tools & Your Responsibility
Any searchable logos, team colors, or other school-related assets loaded dynamically via search integrations are provided strictly for your convenience and are retrieved from public sources on demand. We do not warrant or guarantee that you possess the necessary rights or licenses to use any retrieved team marks or logos. You remain solely responsible for ensuring you are authorized to use any logo, mascot, or brand mark featured in your generated graphics, and we cannot be held liable for any unauthorized use.
5. Reporting Infringement (Takedowns)
If you are a copyright or trademark owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any content stored or processed on the Service infringes your rights, please submit a written complaint to us at projects@teampostkit.com or via our contact form. Your report must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work or trademark that you claim has been infringed;
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing (including the specific URL or location on the Service);
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized; and
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Upon receipt of a valid infringement claim containing this information, we will act promptly to disable access to or remove the disputed content. We may notify the account holder who provided the content, and that user may submit a good-faith response if they believe the material was removed in error.
6. Repeat Infringers
In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, we will disable or terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers or who upload or generate content in a way that repeatedly violates the rights of others.
